All vendors are required to carry active General Liability insurance valid on April 25, 2026. If you have your policy details available, please provide them below. If not, you may still submit your application — insurance information can be provided later, but must be on file before approval is finalized.

Healing for Tucson is a free community event. As a food vendor, you agree to contribute 20% of your gross sales revenue earned during the event on April 25, 2026. This contribution supports event operations, community outreach, and future city-wide events hosted by United City Tucson.
Revenue reporting and payment instructions will be provided upon vendor approval. A designated event coordinator will be available on-site to collect payment at close of event.
Per Tucson Fire Department regulations for Mobile Food Trucks, Trailers, and Carts, all vendors must comply with the items below. Non-compliance on the event date may result in a Stop Work Order. Questions? Contact Tucson Fire Prevention at (520) 791-4502.

Current Pima County Health Dept. InspectionCurrent inspection certificate from Pima County Health Department will be on-site and available for review.

Type I or Type II Hood InstalledType I hood above all grease-producing appliances; Type II for heat/steam-only cooking. Tested every 6 months by a contractor. Meets IMC and Fire Code.

Fire Extinguisher — 2-A:10-BC MinimumMinimum 2-A:10-BC extinguisher on board with current inspection tag (within 12 months). Class K extinguisher present if using automatic wet-chemical system or outdoor deep fryer. Visible and accessible.

Propane / LP Gas ComplianceMax 25-gallon aggregate LP capacity. Hose marked "LP-GAS, PROPANE, 350 PSI WORKING PRESSURE." Rubber hose only — no copper pipe. Exterior ¼-turn emergency shut-off. Tanks secured. "NO SMOKING" signs posted. Cylinders within hydro dates.

Carbon Monoxide Detector & LPG Leak IndicatorWorking CO detector (NFPA 1192-6.4.6) and LPG propane leak indicator (NFPA 1192-6.4.8) installed on vehicle.

Electrical & Generator SafetyAll wiring uses outdoor-rated wire. Fuels stored properly. Suitable barrier between cooking appliances and public. Generator operated safely per applicable codes.

Fire Access Lanes MaintainedVehicle will be positioned to keep fire access lanes clear and egress unobstructed at all times.

No Open Flame Under Tent / CanopyNo open-flame or grease-vapor-producing equipment will operate under tents, canopies, or combustible coverings.
By submitting I confirm: (1) all information is accurate and complete; (2) I agree to the 20% revenue sharing requirement; (3) my operation meets all Tucson Fire Department and city requirements; and (4) I carry active General Liability insurance through the event date. False or incomplete information may result in removal of vendor approval.
